An incredible full trailer has dropped for an epic Indian sci-fi movie called Kalki 2898-AD<\/em><\/strong>. We first posted about this movie about a year ago when the first teasers debuted<\/a> at SDCC. Now it has a final release date set – June 27th<\/strong> worldwide (so, everywhere<\/em>, hopefully?!) – and one amazing new official trailer to enjoy. This is apparently India’s most expensive movie ever made; it really does look like they spared no expensive making it massive & exciting. Plot details are sparse so far, but it’s a Hindu religion inspired epic story with imagery that is reminiscent of Villeneuve’s Dune<\/em>. In Kalki 2898 AD<\/em>, Indian mega star Prabhas<\/strong> plays a modern-day embodiment of Lord Vishnu who arrives to help save Earth and protect it from evil forces. Directed By Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan<\/strong>, Deepika Padukone<\/strong>, Kamal Hassan<\/strong>, & Disha Patani<\/strong>.
