The show has also done something else \u2013 inspired dozens of women to speak up about the harassment they&#8217;ve faced from &#8220;Venezuelan Baby Reindeer&#8221; Rebeca Garc\u00eda, who authorities only recently started investigating because they previously said &#8220;harassment between women doesn&#8217;t exist.&#8221; So what happened to her? Read on to find out.<\/p>\n<p>Garc\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/rebeca-garcia-venezuela-stalker-caracas-b2542653.html\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">has been accused<\/a>  a long list of grievances against women. These include sending hundreds of unwanted emails, breaking and entering, defacing property with graffiti containing women&#8217;s personal details, and even writing a book full of lies about fake encounters.<\/p>\n<p>One woman named Anny De Trindade, a makeup artist in Venezuela, said that Garc\u00eda would write to her constantly on social media, call all the time from different numbers and send her unwanted gifts where she works.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Jam\u00e1s pens\u00e9 que tendr\u00eda que hacer este hilo. Rebeca is a woman who has dedicated her life to harassing innocent women,&#8221; she said in a translated tweet thread with almost 10 million views. <\/p>\n<p>Claudia Aguirrezabal is another alleged victim. She claims Garc\u00eda \u201ccame almost daily to my building, filled my entire street with graffitis with my name, my last name, my username.\u201d Things reached a fever pitch in 2020 when Garc\u00eda jumped on Aguirrezabal&#8217;s car and demanded to be let in. There are widely circulated videos of that incident.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Videos de Rebeca cuando entr\u00f3 en mi edificio y se mont\u00f3 en el cap\u00f3 y techo de mi carro: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vczC7Me3bc\">pic.twitter.com\/vczC7Me3bc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Couquirou (@cocoaguirre) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cocoaguirre\/status\/1787677356171084089?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 7, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>It gets worse. Garc\u00eda also sent Aguirrezabal pictures from inside her apartment with captions about a &#8220;killer&#8221; being in her house. Other violent messages include threats against anyone who touched Aguirrezabal. Garc\u00eda&#8217;s book is called \u201clibro para cocoaguirre.\u201d Cocoaguirre is Aguirrezabal&#8217;s username. Aguirrezabal said she went to school with Garc\u00eda but they were five years apart and never met. <\/p>\n<p>Attempts to get authorities involved fell on deaf ears as the Venezuelan Public Ministry told Aguirrezabal and Trindade \u201cthere is no law protecting harassment of women against women.\u201d Things changed when Aguirrezabal and Trindade&#8217;s threads went viral on X. Authorities then revealed they opened an investigation. So what happened?<\/p>\n<p>Garc\u00eda and her brother (who&#8217;s apparently also a stalker guess it runs in the family) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/news\/11372452\/venezuelan-baby-reindeer-stalked-women\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">were arrested<\/a> in a Madrid supermarket about a week after things started blowing up. Venezuela\u2019s attorney general Tarek William Saab asked for the couple&#8217;s extradition to Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These subjects dedicated themselves for more than seven years to stalking
