Una nueva investigaci\u00f3n ha revelado qu\u00e9 carreteras de las principales ciudades representan el menor peligro, siendo los conductores de Orlando, Florida, considerados algunos de los de menor riesgo.<\/p>\n

El estudio, realizado por el equipo legal de The Barber Law Firm, analiz\u00f3 datos de la Administraci\u00f3n Nacional de Seguridad del Tr\u00e1fico en Carreteras (NHTSA) sobre accidentes fatales que ocurrieron entre 2018 y 2022.<\/p>\n

Los accidentes que ocurrieron entre las 7 a. m. y las 9 a. m. y entre las 5 p. m. y las 7 p. m. en las principales ciudades de EE. UU. se calcularon luego como un porcentaje del total de accidentes para identificar los lugares con las horas pico m\u00e1s mort\u00edferas y seguras.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan los hallazgos, viajar por las carreteras en estos tiempos de mayor actividad es el tercer lugar menos mortal para los residentes de Orlando, Florida.<\/p>\n

A lo largo de los cinco a\u00f1os analizados, 31 de 207 accidentes mortales se produjeron durante las horas punta, lo que equivale al 14,98%. Se encontr\u00f3 que esto estaba un 41% por debajo del promedio nacional de EE. UU. del 22,77%.<\/p>\n

El estudio analiz\u00f3 los datos de la NHTSA sobre la cantidad de accidentes fatales que ocurrieron entre 2018 y 2022 durante las horas pico, que se definieron como de 7 a.m. a 9 a.m. y de 5 p.m. a 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

Estos datos se clasificaron por ciudad, y en la clasificaci\u00f3n final solo se incluyeron las ciudades donde ocurrieron al menos 99 accidentes fatales. Las ciudades se clasificaron seg\u00fan el porcentaje de accidentes mortales que ocurrieron durante las horas pico.<\/p>\n

Al comentar sobre los hallazgos, Kris Barber de The Barber Law Firm dice:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cNaturalmente, el riesgo de accidente aumenta cuando hay m\u00e1s tr\u00e1fico en la carretera, pero parece que esto tiene un impacto significativamente mayor en ciertos lugares que en otros.<\/p>\n

\u00abVemos muchos casos de conductores distra\u00eddos en nuestra empresa y est\u00e1 claro que las condiciones de conducci\u00f3n que probablemente fomenten la distracci\u00f3n o un aumento en el uso de dispositivos, como las horas pico, pueden influir\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u201cTambi\u00e9n es probable que sea una indicaci\u00f3n de d\u00f3nde est\u00e1n los que corren mayores riesgos cuando se trata de acelerar para saltarse un sem\u00e1foro en rojo o cruzar un cruce.<\/p>\n

\u00abSi bien puede ser tentador hacer estas cosas, especialmente cuando llega tarde al trabajo o si est\u00e1 ansioso por llegar a casa, el tiempo extra ahorrado nunca vale la pena por la mayor posibilidad de verse involucrado en un accidente\u00bb.<\/p>\n
