So I’m gonna take from them now, and I’m gonna force them to their knees.”<\/em> Max has revealed an impressive second teaser trailer for the upcoming spin-off series The Penguin<\/em><\/strong>, confirmed for a September launch later this year. This is going to kick ass. This streaming series will follow the transformation of Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot (aka The Penguin) from a disfigured nobody to the noted Gotham gangster, after the events of The Batman<\/em> movie (2022). Oscar nominee Colin Farrell<\/strong> returns from The Batman<\/em> (loved him in it) as Oz, bringing us his full transformation into the infamous DC Comics villain who gives Batman quite a fright. The first few episodes are being directed by Craig Zobel (of Compliance<\/em>, Z for Zachariah<\/em>, The Hunt<\/em>) who seems like a perfect choice for this. The full ensemble cast also has Cristin Milioti<\/strong> as Sofia Falcone, Clancy Brown<\/strong>, Michael Zegen<\/strong>, Shohreh Aghdashloo<\/strong>, Rhenzy Feliz<\/strong>, Michael Kelly<\/strong>, Deirdre O’Connell<\/strong>, James Madio<\/strong>, Scott Cohen<\/strong>, Theo Rossi<\/strong>, Carmen Ejogo<\/strong>, and Fran\u00e7ois Chau<\/strong>.
