By the movement\u2019s standards, the gathering was nonviolent and tame. That said, chants like, \u201cfrom the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,\u201d deployed antisemitic tropes in an industry with high-profile Jewish artists.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not all.<\/p>\n<p>Several Jewish artists, none of whom are politically conservative, have been personally targeted by the far-Left. The most prominent celebrity, actor\/comedian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/antifa-michael-rapaport-portland-protest\/\">Michael Rapaport<\/a>, has been personally protested and endured several cancelations to date.<\/p>\n<p>Why? He\u2019s Jewish and he defends the state of Israel. Rapaport has spent years excoriating President Donald Trump and leans to the Left in general.<\/p>\n<p>Other Jewish artists suffering similar cancellations? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/matisyahu-gelman-cancellation-pro-israel\/\">Actor\/author Brett Gelman of \u201cStranger Things\u201d<\/a> fame and singer Matisyahu.<\/p>\n<p>The far-Left protesters have moved on to the Great White Way of late.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuffs,\u201d a production recalling the Suffragettes movement, is the latest target.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Broadway\u2019s \u2018Suffs\u2019 Disrupted When Activists Unfurl Sign Calling The Tony-Winning Musical A \u201cWhite Wash\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/GH0khG3YwQ\">https:\/\/t.co\/GH0khG3YwQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 USA Songwriting (@usasong) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/usasong\/status\/1808579006519746921?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 3, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The Tony-winning show, co-produced by failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, endured a mid-production halt after \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/07\/suffs-broadway-protest-1236000674\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">radical, anti-racist, queer feminists<\/a>\u201d dropped a banner near the stage.<\/p>\n<p>The slogan? \u201cSuffs Is a White Wash.\u201d The protesters shouted the phrase before security took back control of the show.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters\u2019 web site explained the line of attack:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cThe whitewashing in the show is a dangerous lie because it reinforces several ideas: that the suffrage movement wasn\u2019t deeply racist, that white women\u2019s stories are more worthy of taking center stage, and that white women are always aligned with progressive causes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Another far-Left protest rocked \u201cAn Enemy of the People\u201d in March. This time, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/article\/broadway-climate-protesters-disrupt-an-enemy-of-the-people.html\"  rel=\"noopener\">climate cultists at Extinction Rebellion<\/a>&nbsp;led the way. Their chant?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cNo theater on a dead planet.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Not even Jerry Seinfeld is immune.<\/p>\n<p>The comic legend isn\u2019t conservative, even though the Right has embraced his stands against Hamas and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/jerry-seinfeld-extreme-left-pc-crap-comedy\/\">woke comedy restrictions.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Seinfeld even threw <a href=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/jerry-seinfeld-ny-mets-owner-among-gov-kathy-hochuls-biggest-donors.html\"  rel=\"noopener\">considerable support behind New York\u2019s Kathy Hochul<\/a>, a far-Left governor who once told the state&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/08\/25\/kathy-hochuls-call-for-5-4m-republicans-to-leave-new-york-is-dangerous\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">5-plus million Republicans to scram.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>His liberal bona fides didn\u2019t shield him from pro-Palestinian radicals. First, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/jerry-seinfeld-screamed-outside-ny-event-state-world-jewry-address-f-scum\"  rel=\"noopener\">angry mob screamed that he supported \u201cgenocide\u201d f<\/a>or standing up for Israel in its fight against the terrorist group Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>That wasn\u2019t enough.<\/p>\n<p>Now, at least two times he\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/06\/jerry-seinfeld-slams-pro-palestinian-heckler-melbourne-standup-show-1235981144\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">verbally tussled with pro-Palestinian protesters<\/a> who bought tickets to his shows only to interrupt the proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>Seinfeld, being a world-class cutup, eviscerated the rabble rousers each time. He may have to do so over and again given the protesters&#8217; tenacity.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/left-eats-its-own-hollywood-radical-protesters\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-youtube-lyte\/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2F2yqxO4xJ5JA%2Fhqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Video\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At least Seinfeld is fighting back on his own terms. We\u2019ve heard very few Hollywood artists decry the far-Left protesters, let alone their anti-speech measures or antisemitic tropes.<\/p>\n<p>Few, if any, have rushed to defend Seinfeld, Rapaport, Matisyahu or Gellman. That partly could be due to the media\u2019s near-blackout on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the Seinfeld snippets have drawn plenty of media coverage. The others? Far less.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Imperioli, a co-star in \u201cAn Enemy of the State,\u201d threw his support behind his show&#8217;s protesters. He said while his character didn\u2019t appreciate the incursion, he did.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/ca.finance.yahoo.com\/news\/michael-imperioli-stays-character-stop-162356064.html\"  rel=\"noopener\">Much love,<\/a>\u201d he shared on Instagram, later dubbing the protests &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/culture\/culture-news\/michael-imperioli-enemy-of-the-people-climate-protest-1234988216\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">exciting<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Why? Artists like the &#8220;Sopranos&#8221; alum may legitimately approve of their tactics. Or, they fear the Left&#8217;s wrath should they dare to disagree.
