The original Moana<\/em> musical from Disney Animation Studios opened in late 2016 and became a beloved global hit, ending up as a favorite of many young viewers everywhere. This sequel is the first feature film made by Disney’s Vancouver based studio. It was only revealed this was in the works earlier this year, and it’s currently ready to debut in theaters in November<\/a> just in time for Thanksgiving. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana journeys to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.
