GMC has revealed the 2025 GMC Yukon, a midcycle refresh of the brand’s popular body-on-frame full-sized SUV.<\/p>\n

The outside of the 2025 GMC Yukon features a heavily updated front end with new, sleeker headlights that feature more distinct cutouts. New grille designs feature more distinction between the trim lines, while a new front bumper gets an updated, leaner design.<\/p>\n

The profile of the new Yukon remains largely unchanged, with the Denali Ultimate trim getting a new 24-inch wheel option, which is only available on vehicles equipped with the MagneRide air suspension system. The rear receives the lightest of the exterior updates with slightly tweaked taillights, a new trim piece connecting the tops of said taillights, and new squared-off exhaust pipes. Top trims get animated lighting as you approach or walk away from the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The 2025 GMC Yukon’s trim lines have been adjusted with the Elevation trim replacing both SLE and SLT trims at the bottom of the range. A new AT4 Ultimate brings more luxury features to the off-road-oriented AT4 trim, including an air suspension, full-grain leather seating, and ash wood interior trim. The top-of-the-line continues to be the Denali Ultimate, filled to the brim with luxury features.<\/p>\n

Inside, the 2025 GMC Yukon receives some of the biggest changes with a completely overhauled design. The dash gets an entirely new look that brings it in line with other newer GMC designs. The star of this update is the new verticle 16.8-inch touchscreen running Android Automotive with built-in Google Maps and Google Assistant. <\/p>\n

A new Executive Seating package available on the Denali Ultimate gives second-row passengers heated, ventilated, and massaging seats with integrated headrest speakers.<\/p>\n

Available options include a new 8-inch touchscreen for rear seat passengers to control their climate, a 22-speaker Bose premium audio system, and a panoramic sunroof. Buyers will be able to option GM’s excellent Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system as well as a new night vision system. A column-mounted stalk, like that in most new GM products, replaces the pushbutton transmission controls of the outgoing model.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Yukon gets numerous standard safety features, including rear cross-traffic braking, intersection automatic emergency braking, side cyclist alert, and front pedestrian and cyclist braking.<\/p>\n

The standard powertrain for the 2025 GMC Yukon continues to be the same 5.3-lt V8 found in the current version, good for 355 hp. Buyers can opt to upgrade to a larger 6.2-lt V8 that produces 420 hp.<\/p>\n

Those interested in diesel power will find the new 3.0-lt Duramax turbodiesel now makes 305 hp, an increase of 28 hp over the outgoing version, and is now available across all Yukon trims. All three powertrains will come paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission, and buyers will have the choice of RWD or AWD, depending on configuration.<\/p>\n

GMC says the 2025 GMC Yukon will begin rolling into US showrooms by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
