The narrative focuses on the indoctrination of children in our public school system and beyond. The film features Chaya Raichik, better known as Libs of TikTok along with Sen. Rand Paul and women&#8217;s rights advocate Riley Gaines.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/filmmaker-amazon-blocked-my-anti-woke-children-doc\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-youtube-lyte\/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2FMfDEOO-Y9W4%2Fhqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Video\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Starbuck shared startling news about &#8220;Children&#8221; on social media this week. He showed a screen cap indicating Amazon won&#8217;t allow him to watch his own film on the platform. Worse? Anyone who wants to buy or rent the film at Amazon can&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>This reporter tried several times to find &#8220;The War on Children&#8221; on the service without luck.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s because, after a months-long process to gain access to the platform, Amazon deemed&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&#8220;Children&#8221; due to &#8220;offensive content,&#8221; according to Starbuck.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Our documentary \u2018The War On Children\u2019 is the most watched documentary of the year with more than 50 million views but <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/amazon?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@amazon<\/a> just BANNED it from <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PrimeVideo?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@PrimeVideo<\/a> due to &#8220;offensive content.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Is <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JeffBezos?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@JeffBezos<\/a> afraid of people hearing our very mainstream viewpoint shared by half the\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YgRIgDmyZ6\">pic.twitter.com\/YgRIgDmyZ6<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/robbystarbuck\/status\/1826282953363558743?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 21, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Starbuck told Hollywood in Toto his team had been in talks with Amazon since March to allow the film on the platform. Now, the matter appears to be closed. And it&#8217;s hardly the first time a right-leaning project got silenced by Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>The company previously approved, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/amazon-cancels-created-equal-clarence-thomas-doc\/\">later removed without warning or explanation<\/a> &#8220;Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words.&#8221; The powerful documentary lets the Supreme Court Justice tell his life story sans filter.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it. Nothing outrageous, offensive or inappropriate. Yet Amazon yanked the film from its lineup.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The company also<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/amazon-what-killed-michael-brown\/\"> tried to censor &#8220;What Killed Michael Brown?&#8221;<\/a> Director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/what-killed-michael-brown-review\/\">Eli Steele&#8217;s 20210 documentary<\/a> showed another side to the Brown saga, shattering progressive narratives on the subject.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/filmmaker-amazon-blocked-my-anti-woke-children-doc\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-youtube-lyte\/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2FHP3GVS8yJEY%2Fhqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Video\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Amazon initially said the film didn&#8217;t meet its quality standards. That&#8217;s dubious given the film&#8217;s polished presentation and reputable arguments.
