\"\"The Renault Kardian is an instant success in Colombia.<\/em><\/p>\n

16,516 new vehicles found a buyer in Colombia in July, a splendid 25.6% year-on-year lift. However keep in mind July 2023 was off a daunting -43.5% on the year prior. So far this year, the market is still in negative at -2.1% to 101,797. Toyota (+27.3%) reclaims the brand lead it hold year-to-date at 14% share with last month’s leader Kia (+83.2%) posting a fantastic uptick but back down to #2. Renault (+22.2%) stays at #3, a disappointing result for the French manufacturer that ranked #1 over the Full Year 2023. Chevrolet (-11.3%) and Mazda (-5.9%) underperform to round out the Top 5. Hyundai (+135%), Suzuki (+42.8%), Volkswagen (+41.2%) and Nissan (+32.2%) outpace the market below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Model-wise, the Toyota Corolla Cross (+118.2%) is back in charge, and by a large margin at 5.6% share vs. 3.6% of the Mazda CX-30 (+16.1%) now in 2nd place. The new Kia K3 is up two spots on June to close out the podium, followed by the Renault Duster (+5.3%) and Kia Picanto (+11.9%). The Toyota SW4 Fortuner (+105.2%) is the only additional Top 10 model to beat the market, with the Toyota Hilux (+17.7%), Chevrolet Onix (+8.7%), Mazda2 (+6.9%) and Chevrolet Joy (+0.6%) still in positive, but more subdued. The Renault Kardian, launched this month, is an instant success at #13.<\/span><\/p>\n
