Rose, rose, rose! There are a few brands that do the whole “rose thing” well and Pixi<\/b> is one of them with a complete range of products that use rose essence to prime, hydrate and refresh the skin. The Rose+ Collection will have you covered from skincare to colour cosmetics and has been one of my favourite collections from Pixi to date!<\/span><\/div>\n

This very pretty in pink product is truly a skincare and makeup hybrid as it’s a tri-phase oil infused with rejuvenating rose that hydrates, but absorbs instantly and acts as a primer for makeup. It has a very lightweight texture so much so that you can even use it ON TOP of makeup throughout the day for an extra boost of moisture. I have never done this as I rarely get drier as the day progresses, but very much the opposite! It also smells divine!<\/p>\n

I have noticed that my foundation actually does look better with this underneath than with my other silicone-based primers. While there is still a bit of shine that peeks through, my skin looks soft and even. One dropper is more than enough and has been a welcome surprise as a primer!<\/p>\n

+Rose Glow-y Powder*<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

This is a “radiance powder” infused with rose extract and ceramides that can be used as either a blush or highlighter to brighten or add glow to any complexion. It is has a super smooth and pleasant texture, but a little goes a long way so don’t be too heavy-handed with the brush like I did the first time! Personally, I found it too shimmery for me as a blush though the colour itself was very flattering (swatch below).<\/p>\n

I completely forgot to take a photo of the Rose+ Lip Nourisher! The swatch is about and as you can see it is a fairly bright lip balm that is meant to provide intense moisture with luminous shine. While it was moisturizing, I was not a huge fan of the tint on me.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

+Rose Radiance Perfector*<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

This is another sort of multi-use product in that rose-infused complexion enhancer is tinted ever so slightly with a pink pearlescent finish to bring life to dull skin. It can be used to to enhance features like the brow and cheekbones or as an all over skin enhancer. It has a lotion texture that absorbs quickly into the skin so depending on your skintype, you can either use this in place of moisturizer or on top of it. If you would like to treat this as a primer for makeup, you can do that too! So many uses!<\/p>\n
