Julia Louis-Dreyfus has more in common with Vice President Kamala Harris than you think.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, the \u201cSeinfeld\u201d alum played a clueless Vice President on HBO\u2019s \u201cVeep.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n

The similarities proved so uncanny even the far-Left \u201cDaily Show\u201d drew a direct comparison<\/a> between the two.<\/p>\n

And the show wasn\u2019t alone. The Ruthless Variety Progrum<\/a> also hilariously connected the pair.<\/p>\n

The actress recently admitted she doesn\u2019t know much about political matters<\/a> during a chatty appearance on MSNBC. If you\u2019ve heard Harris talk about the core issues facing voters this year you know her political acumen is akin to a high school dropout.<\/p>\n

That helps explain why she recoils from interview mics.<\/p>\n

Louis-Dreyfus made that revealing admission on the far-Left network. It hardly builds confidence in the Celebrity Brand, a notion that has taken some body blows of late. Recently, NBC News leaned into the matter, suggesting stars are doing more harm than good<\/a> with their election year endorsements.<\/p>\n

The courting of celebrity endorsements is a long-running tradition in presidential politics and one that Democrats generally win. But in the process, Democrats can open themselves up to an easy line of attack from Republicans: Democrats cater to Hollywood, not average Americans.<\/p>\n

The actress’ confession isn’t helping her cause.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a politician. I\u2019m not an expert on the various issues that we\u2019re up against today.”<\/p>\n

And why should we care what you say again?<\/p>\n

She didn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I do feel strongly who our leaders should be as an American citizen and would really like it if the discourse could become kinder and more effective. And I think that will be the case with Kamala Harris.\u201d<\/p>\n

Has she been awake the past year? How about the last eight?<\/p>\n

President Donald Trump is no shrinking violet. And, at times, his crude rhetoric has lowered the bar on civil discourse. No doubt.<\/p>\n

Hollywood responded by making it much, much worse. Let\u2019s start with star after star comparing Trump to Hitler.<\/a> That started at the dawn of Trump\u2019s political career and never let up.<\/p>\n

Celebrities took turns pining for his death<\/a>, either via garish pop culture offerings or in plain English.<\/a><\/p>\n

They\u2019ve dubbed him an existential threat to our nation, much like many corporate media journalists have done. Stars couldn\u2019t even rally against the not one but two attempts on Trump\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

A few celebrities, like Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/a> and John Leguizamo<\/a>, spun crazed conspiracy theories around those attacks.<\/p>\n
