The 2024 Official Wheelchair Basketball Rules Interpretations (OWBRI)<\/a> have officially been published and will come into effect on 1st October 2024<\/strong>. This updated document provides essential guidance on the application of the latest wheelchair basketball rules, ensuring consistency and alignment with international standards.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the Technical Commission, Cristian Roja, highlighted that the OWBRI 2024 has been thoroughly updated to align with the Official Wheelchair Basketball Rules 2023<\/strong> <\/a>(version 2, valid from 6th March 2023) and the latest FIBA Official Basketball Rules<\/strong><\/a> (version 4.1, valid from 25th July 2024).<\/p>\n

This extensive work, completed by the members of the Technical Commission, showcases the latest modifications, underlined in blue, to ensure clarity and consistency in rule interpretation.<\/p>\n
