  • The all-female vocal and dance group PassCode has announced that they will perform the opening theme for season 2 of the TV anime As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I\u2019ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World. The song, titled \u201cSKILLAWAKE,\u201d marks their second consecutive anime theme song, following their previous release \u201cWILLSHINE,\u201d which served as the opening theme for season 2 of SHY and was their first release after switching labels.<\/li>\n
  • The anime is based on the light novel, As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I\u2019ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World: I Inherited a Weak Territory, and If I Increase the Number of Capable Personnel, It Will Become the Strongest Territory, written by Miraijin A and published by Kodansha K Ranobe Books. It\u2019s an account of the main character, Ars Louvent, who is reincarnated in another world. He possesses a unique skill, \u201cAppraisal,\u201d which allows him to discern the stats and abilities of others. Putting this skill to good use, he finds individuals with hidden potential and transforms a weak territory into the strongest. The novel has become a huge hit with over 100 million page views on the novel self-publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou. The first season of the anime premiered in April 2024, with the second season set to begin airing on September 29.<\/li>\n
  • The new song \u201cSKILLAWAKE\u201d will be available for early streaming on various music platforms starting October 7 and will be released as a CD single on December 18. In addition to the title track, the CD will include a B-side song. The Limited First Edition Blu-ray will feature a complete recording of all 12 songs from PassCode\u2019s live performance at the VERSUS PASSCODE 2024 Vol.2 event, held on July 1 at Shibuya Spotify O-EAST. This includes the first-ever performance of \u201cWILLSHINE,\u201d which was released on September 11, making it a must-have for fans.<\/li>\n
