Lenz has been open in the past about being married to the son of the group leader, whom she refers to as QB.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Bethany Joy Lenz joins Alex Cooper on podcast \u2018Call Her Daddy\u2019 for an interview discussing her iconic role on One Tree Hill and how she broke free from a cult, out this Wednesday. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/IybhMno2IC\">pic.twitter.com\/IybhMno2IC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; OTHDIARY (@OTHdiary) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OTHdiary\/status\/1846335650808680717?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 15, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cOh, for sure,\u201d Lenz said when asked by podcast host Alex Cooper whether portraying Haley was a form of escapism. \u201cOnly in the moments when the cameras were rolling.\u201d The actress clarified that the emotional reprieve she found on the set of <em>One Tree Hill <\/em>had nothing to do with a romantic connection with Lafferty, and that it revolved more around the role itself.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt worked with the story line,\u201d Lenz said of her and Lafferty\u2019s roles. \u201cNathan and Haley had great chemistry, and so I leaned into it.\u201d She went on to reveal that she was \u201cable to really maintain a totally professional relationship\u201d with her onscreen partner and co-star, describing Lafferty as a \u201cbrotherly figure\u201d who \u201cnever crossed that boundary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Lafferty] was lovely\u2026 and I never had to worry about having feelings,\u201d Lenz added.
