Glasgow, UK, 13th December August 2024 <\/strong>– Anime Limited, PLAION PICTURES and CD PROJEKT RED are thrilled to announce that the critically acclaimed original anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners<\/strong>, previously available only on Netflix, is coming to Blu-ray in 2025. <\/p>\n

Discover the standalone, ten-episode story of street kid David Martinez trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future \u2014 soon available in a physical format!<\/p>\n

Additionally, the series is being adapted into a manga prequel that focuses on fan-favorite characters Rebecca and her brother Pilar.<\/p>\n

Created in collaboration with studio TRIGGER, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners<\/strong> premiered on Netflix in 2022 and quickly became an international hit, garnering various awards including the prestigious Anime of the Year from the Anime Awards 2023. Set in the universe of CD PROJEKT RED\u2019s best-selling video game Cyberpunk 2077, it tells the standalone story of David Martinez, a street kid trying to survive in the technology and body modification-obsessed megalopolis of Night City.<\/p>\n

About Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s first-ever manga adaptation, titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS<\/strong>, follows the chaotic lives of two characters who viewers were first introduced to in the anime: siblings Rebecca and Pilar, who quickly became fan favorites. Before they joined David\u2019s crew, the pair grew up wreaking havoc in their path to become legendary edgerunners like their father \u2014 but when the mysterious Safran interrupts their daily routine in Night City, he changes their future.<\/p>\n

The manga will arrive in a monthly serialized format in Japanese, Polish, Spanish, Italian, German, French, and Traditional Chinese, with the first chapter releasing December 13th in all listed languages except Traditional Chinese, which will follow on December 20th. The English edition will be published in paperback volumes by Dark Horse.<\/p>\n
