Washington were all ejected after this scuffle in Mavs-Suns. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/A3Gk7eBYlI\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/A3Gk7eBYlI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ESPNNBA\/status\/1872856075898114152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">December 28, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Tempers flared at the 9:02 mark of the third quarter where <a href=\"https:\/\/nbaanalysis.net\/tag\/jusuf-nurkic\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nurkic<\/a> and Marshall went at it. The altercation started when Nurkic charged hard against Daniel Gafford in the low post, leading to an offensive foul call from an official. <\/p>\n<p>Upon walking away, the Suns man immediately returned and went head-to-head against Marshall. Just throw that sh*t under the rug man.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Irving went on to jokingly state how the fights might help the NBA&#8217;s ratings. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ryan-dunn-joked-why-he-could-not-help-nurkic\">Ryan Dunn joked why he could not help Nurkic<\/h2>\n<p>Several teammates from both the Suns and the Mavericks came over to play some part in the altercation, most acting as peacemakers. <\/p>\n<p>One man who tried to stay well out of the trouble was Suns rookie Ryan Dunn and he gave one clear reason why. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Asked about the Jusuf Nurkic altercation, Ryan Dunn joked, &quot;He was on me, I was tryin&#039; to squabble!
