The Lexus GX was finally redesigned last year, so there aren’t any big updates to the 2025 GX. But if off-roading is one of your priorities, you’ll like to hear that the off-road focused GX Overtrail and Overtrail+ now have a one inch suspension lift.<\/p>\n

Other than that, the 2025 GX carries over into the new model year without any other big updates, other than the Lexus Memory System and a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column that are now standard.<\/p>\n

The GX is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 that generates 349 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Lexus did confirm that a GX hybrid will eventually be added to the lineup, but since the introduction of the current GX, we haven’t received any updates about the hybrid version. Towing capacity is up to 9,063 lbs. for Premium, Premium+, Overtrail+ trimsand 9,096 lbs for the Overtrail trim level with the standard tow hitch receiver.<\/p>\n
