LeBron James celebrated his 40th birthday in style, putting on a solid display despite the loss against his former team.<\/strong><\/p>\n

LeBron James<\/a> just turned 40 years old on Monday, but you could never tell watching him play last night. Despite losing 122-110 to his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a>, James was a key star for the Lakers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the game, James had 23 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. This performance might be an indicator that despite turning 40 years old, he is still one of the top players in the entire league.<\/p>\n

The loss against the Cavaliers, unlike many other Lakers losses this season, isn’t a sign of their impending collapse. It just shows the gulf in quality between the two sides.<\/p>\n

But James has taken great care of his body throughout his career and is still able to do great things and perform at a high level.<\/p>\n

In his 22nd season, he is still putting up All-Star numbers, averaging 23.4 points, 8.9 assists, and 7.7 rebounds.<\/p>\n
