Whitney Cummings&#8217; brutal roast during CNN&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s Eve coverage.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">NEW: Anderson Cooper stands completely speechless after Whitney Cummings says Dems couldn\u2019t hold a primary because they were too busy holding up a dead body.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was amazing that the Pro-Choice Party didn&#8217;t give their voters one\u2026\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/EtxIcMKRXZ\">pic.twitter.com\/EtxIcMKRXZ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CollinRugg\/status\/1874304628160073876?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 1, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The veteran comic unleashed a crush of topics during the network&#8217;s holiday gala, including President Joe Biden&#8217;s frail mental and physical state. It&#8217;s a fact the corporate press ignored and\/or downplayed for four-plus years.<\/p>\n<p>They even <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ClayTravis\/status\/1873730094528938346\"  rel=\"noopener\">sheepishly admit it now,<\/a> pretending as if they didn&#8217;t notice Biden&#8217;s decline.<\/p>\n<p>We did.<\/p>\n<p>Americans saw clip after clip of Biden stumbling, bumbling and barely putting cogent thoughts together. Legacy media outlets told us he was fine, branding indisputable proof of his decline as &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-trump-videos-age-cheap-fakes-misinformation-a4f2fb5215e9d46520fbaf1cbd79b0b9\"  rel=\"noopener\">cheap fakes<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2025\/01\/01\/whitney-cummings-rips-democrats-on-cnn-nye-broadcast-pro-choice-party-didnt-give-their-voters-one-when-it-came-to-their-presidential-candidate\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Cummings let CNN have it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cThe 2024 election fried our brains. The Democrats couldn\u2019t hold a primary because they were too busy holding a body upright,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was amazing that the pro-choice party didn\u2019t give their voters one when it came to their presidential candidate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cKamala was forced on us so hard you\u2019d think she was patented by Pfizer,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Brutal. Accurate. Funny. Sad.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what satirists are supposed to say. Instead, we have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/stephen-colbert-biden-regime-comedian\/\">regime comedians like Stephen Colbert<\/a> who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/how-late-night-comics-covered-up-bidens-decline\/\">protect their party at all costs.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Later, Cummings torched another &#8220;off-limits&#8221; target &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/pardon-my-son-hunter-biden-parody\/\">First Son Hunter Biden<\/a>. His shenanigans similarly got swept under the rug by late-night comedians and &#8220;Saturday Night Live.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With one pinpoint line Cummings told the scorching truth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cThe Dallas Cowboys cheerleader doc showed the girls being treated horribly, underpaid, crying. I thought I\u2019d opened a video on Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This all happened live during CNN&#8217;s holiday coverage. The press bent over backward to cover the gala, reporting on trivial stories like <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/tv\/news\/andy-cohen-tequila-cnn-new-year-anderson-cooper-1236263190\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Anderson Cooper taking a stiff drink.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Stop. The. Presses.<\/p>\n<p>These hot-button gags got similar coverage, right? CNN? The Washington Post? What about entertainment news outlets? Surely, they shared these barbs with their audience?<\/p>\n<p>No.<\/p>\n<p>A Google News search for &#8220;Whitney Cummings&#8221; this morning found zero coverage of these quips from The Hollywood Reporter, The Wrap, Variety, WaPo, CNN, The New York Times and more.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline did post two stories about Cummings&#8217; appearance but <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/12\/whitney-cummings-taunts-andy-cohen-anderson-cooper-invoking-kathy-griffin-roasts-cnn-ratings-disney-1236244644\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">avoided the jokes listed above<\/a>. It must have slipped their minds even though the barbs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/anderson-cooper-whitney-cummings-cnn-roast-viral-2008238\"  rel=\"noopener\">went viral.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/media-ignore-whitney-cummings-cnn-roast\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-youtube-lyte\/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2FqCXl1OnV4Jg%2Fhqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Video\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The corporate media&#8217;s bias went nuclear in recent years, in reaction to Donald Trump&#8217;s political ascendency. Their extreme partisanship includes inconvenient stories they want to bury at all costs. That can&#8217;t be done any longer.<\/p>\n<p>The stories catch fire on X. They fuel YouTube video podcasts. Sites like Breitbart News hunt them down and share for all to see.<\/p>\n<p>The new year won&#8217;t change corporate media. It&#8217;s another reason they&#8217;re in for a frightening 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: CNN hoped to similarly bury its own coverage.
