From ‘starboy’ to star man, 22-year-old Bukayo Saka<\/a> scored his first-ever career Champions League<\/a> for Arsenal<\/a> tonight. <\/p>\n

The enigmatic winger has played an instrumental role in guiding the Gunners from midtable status back to Premier League<\/a> heavyweights. <\/p>\n

His goal tonight came just 8 minutes into his Champions League debut. It’s the Gunners first Champions League goal since 2017 — that’s right, six years! <\/p>\n

Saka’s goal leaves Arsenal fans in tears<\/h4>\n

Bukayo Saka shifted to his left foot and passed to Martin Odegaard, who fired a potent shot from the box’s edge. Goalkeeper Benitez could only parry the ball, allowing Saka to pounce and smash home the opening goal.<\/p>\n

The goal put Arsenal up 1-nil at the Emirates. 12 minutes later, Saka notched his first Champions League assist for Leandro Trossard, also making his UCL debut.
