The Golden State Warriors got their second consecutive win, brushing aside a spirited Washington Wizards outfit 122-114 to go a game over .500 but that wasn’t the biggest story.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jordan Poole<\/a> returned to the franchise where he won his ring and broke through as a bonafide NBA talent after years in the wilderness. <\/p>\n

What seemed like a genuine long-term relationship developing for Poole in the Bay Area was torpedoed by a single incident when he was involved in a scuffle with Draymond Green<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Speaking on his return to the Warriors as a Wizard this time, Poole said he still loved “most of the guys” to which Draymond Green had an internet-breaking response. <\/p>\n

Draymond Green responds to Jordan Poole<\/h2>\n

Green has never been one to do “media filtered” comments<\/a> be it in his press conference or on social media through his own channels. <\/p>\n

His latest one might have taken the cake though as he responded to Poole’s comments on his feelings of being a Warriors. <\/p>\n

He almost gave the Warriors a scare with a virtuoso performance for the Wizards, finishing the game with 38 points and eight three-pointers. After the game, he reflected on his Warriors days. <\/p>\n

Poole said: “Yeah, I love those guys over there. I love most of those guys over there. A really good group. A really good staff. Shout out to the fans. I saw a lot of 3 jerseys out there, a lot of JP3 jerseys, which is always really cool. I always get a lot of love (here). I spent some good quality time here, and it’s dope to see it appreciated.”<\/p>\n

Green’s attention was caught by Poole correcting himself to say he loved “most of those guys” instead of being a blanket statement, a reference to Poole still holding a grudge over that scuffle.<\/p>\n

Green responded with just four words, “I really am sorry”, sending the NBA fans into a meltdown. <\/p>\n

Fans erupt over Green’s response to Poole<\/h2>\n

NBA is never left wanting for drama but this season, most was dominated by Jimmy Butler’s rift with the Miami Heat<\/a>. Green has just revived another thread. <\/p>\n

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and expressed their shock and disbelief that Green would publicly comment something like that when he wasn’t mentioned by name. <\/p>\n

“Thought this was the Money Greem parody account,” said one, while another agreed, “I THOUGHT THIS WAS THAT FAKE DRAYMOND ACCOUNT BRO.”<\/p>\n
