It’s unclear when this Porsche 928 was converted into a somewhat awkward Cabriolet.<\/li>\n

The 928<\/a> may not spring to mind when you think of Porsche<\/a>‘s most iconic cars, but the truth is that it was initially conceived as a potential successor to the 911. See, at the time, the powers that be at Zuffenhausen thought that a grand tourer with a V8 up front would be more attractive to buyers than the rear-engined 911 that, due to this layout, was notoriously fickle at corners if you didn’t follow the “slow in, fast out” mantra, as many owners found to their dismay.<\/p>\n
