The New York Knicks are continuing their impressive season and they’re proving that the best in the West can be toppled. <\/strong><\/p>\n

A 122-112 win over the Denver Nuggets<\/a> has seen the Knicks<\/a> extend their unbeaten run to five matches which sees them third in the Eastern Conference<\/a> with a 32-16 record. <\/p>\n

Karl-Anthony Towns has received much of the plaudits<\/a> for the Knicks this season and perhaps rightly so, but he came under fire from Draymond Green<\/a> for his display against the Nuggets. <\/p>\n

One player who seems to be sliding under the radar somewhat is Jalen Brunson<\/a> and he showed his quality once more in the team’s latest win. <\/p>\n

Perkins praises Jalen Brunson <\/h2>\n

Brunson starred for the Knicks scoring 30 points as well as adding 15 assists to continue his brilliant form while scoring 10-16 field goals. <\/p>\n

The 28-year-old is averaging 25.9 points, 2,9 rebounds and 7.5 assists this season and Chandler Parsons recently hailed him the Knicks’ most important player<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Somebody who agrees with Parsons’ take is former NBA star Kendrick Perkins who was quick to praise Brunson for his recent display. <\/p>\n

Taking to social media, he said: “The growth of Big Body Brunson has been the key to the Knicks high power offense! Going out there and getting his and still making others around him better.”<\/p>\n
