Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) berkata pihaknya akan meningkatkan langkah keselamatan di kawasan berisiko tinggi dengan menempatkan lebih ramai anggota polis bantuan untuk mencegah pencerobohan landasan pada masa hadapan. Ini berlaku susulan insiden pencerobohan landasan beberapa hari lepas, di mana seorang lelaki maut dan empat lagi cedera ringan selepas mereka dirempuh kereta api KTM Komuter di KM 34.734, laluan antara Teluk Pulai dan Klang.<\/p>\n
Dalam satu kenyataan, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif KTMB Mohd Zain Mat Taha berkata syarikat itu akan terus berhubung dengan Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD) untuk memastikan pematuhan ketat terhadap peraturan keselamatan dan meningkatkan penguatkuasaan undang-undang di premis operasi, laporan Bernama<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cIni adalah sebahagian daripada usaha kami untuk mengukuhkan undang-undang sedia ada dan membendung insiden pencerobohan.
