The bitter tit-for-tat saw Mace, <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/politics\/republican-nancy-mace-has-made-a-name-for-herself-through-acts-of-hate-%E2%8F%A4-and-we-all-know-what-karma-is\/\">perpetually obsessed with trans people<\/a>, say Republicans shouldn\u2019t take \u201cadvice from a group of people who can\u2019t define what a woman is,\u201d after which Crockett labelled her a \u201cchild.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Crockett: Somebody\u2019s campaign coffers are struggling right now so she\u2019s going to keep saying trans trans trans.. While the entire ordeal could\u2019ve ended there, Crockett has since revealed that one staffer sought to follow-up on Mace\u2019s proposal with a phone call to her office. Recalling the moment, Crockett told <em>The View <\/em>panelists that \u201csomeone who works for another sitting member of Congress\u201d called her office \u201cto basically say, &#8216;Yeah, I want to put money on this, I want them to go outside.&#8217;&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Crockett stopped short of revealing the identity of the caller who wished to place a bet on the proposed fight (what is this, White House WWE?), but did speak more broadly about the implications of the phone call. \u201cIt is threatening, and I don&#8217;t care what side of the aisle you come from, but it should never be okay for a staffer,\u201d Crockett said, \u201cand it wasn&#8217;t okay for [Mace], either.&#8221; According to the Democratic politician, the real fight should be happening on behalf of the American people. \u201cInstead of Nancy Mace challenging me to go outside to fight, what she should be fighting for is a better economy,\u201d she quipped.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rep. In any case, it\u2019s not the first time Mace has been name-dropped on <em>The View, <\/em>with co-host Ana Navarro-C\u00e1rdenas saying in November that t<a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/politics\/nancy-mace-rage-tweeted-over-400-times-in-a-week-and-the-view-co-host-ana-navarro-cardenas-just-diagnosed-why\/\">he Republican might be \u201cmentally ill.\u201d<\/a> That was in response to Mace\u2019s ongoing tirade against trans people, which has culminated in <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/politics\/you-are-a-hateful-person-nancy-mace-is-vying-for-marjories-crown-with-her-own-uptick-in-hateful-trans-rhetoric\/\">attacks on trans politician Sarah McBride<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/politics\/oh-no-a-single-image-low-key-confirms-why-nancy-mace-has-such-an-intimate-relationship-with-bathrooms\/\">exclusionary bathroom policies<\/a> on Capitol Hill.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Crockett, meanwhile, has taken aim at everyone from Mace to <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/politics\/please-stop-allowing-this-embarrassment-jasmine-crockett-endorses-raw-milk-chugger-marjorie-taylor-greenes-opponent-and-reveals-which-privilege-she-should-be-denied\/\">Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/politics\/the-guy-is-a-weirdo-its-really-quite-simple-vibrant-visionary-jasmine-crockett-vaporizes-vance-as-a-vital-victory-volleys-into-view\/\">JD Vance<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/politics\/i-am-tired-of-the-white-tears-jasmine-crockett-says-its-time-to-wipe-your-tears-please-and-thank-you\/\">mediocre white men writ large<\/a>. Interestingly, it\u2019s not the first time <em>actual<\/em> fighting has somehow reared its head into the White House.
