The ball club remain in the competitive race for the title thanks to the stellar play of <a href=\"https:\/\/nbaanalysis.net\/tag\/kyrie-irving\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kyrie Irving<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite missing <a href=\"https:\/\/nbaanalysis.net\/tag\/anthony-davis\/page\/2\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anthony Davis<\/a> who <a href=\"https:\/\/nbaanalysis.net\/sports-injury-doctor-issues-warning-over-anthony-davis-blow-dallas-mavericks-star-issues-update-after-debut-cut-short\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">went down in his Mavs debut,<\/a> Dallas is still at the eighth spot of the West with 32-28, just a game away from the sixth seed.<\/p>\n<p>Davis will serve as the difference maker for the Mavericks\u2019 championship odds. And Garnett was notably high for him to the extent that he previously claimed that the superstar big man will be the league MVP one day.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in 2023, Garnett said: \u201cI\u2019m expecting Anthony Davis to be MVP in these next two years \u2026 it\u2019s time, it\u2019s time, you can\u2019t let Joker [Nikola Joki\u0107] come in the league and surpass [you],\u201d Garnett said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnthony Davis can do everything they can do.
