Seg\u00fan Yonhap News Agency<\/em>, la Comisi\u00f3n de Comunicaciones de Corea del Sur (KCC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) podr\u00eda sancionar a Apple y Google con una multa de hasta 68.000 millones de wones surcoreanos (unos 48 millones de euros) por infringir las normas sobre pagos desde aplicaciones. Dichas normas proh\u00edben que los proveedores de tiendas de aplicaciones impongan sus propios canales de pago a los desarrolladores.<\/strong>

<\/em>A ra\u00edz de una investigaci\u00f3n iniciada en agosto de 2022, la KCC descubri\u00f3 que ambas empresas exig\u00edan a los desarrolladores locales de aplicaciones el uso de determinados m\u00e9todos de pago, adem\u00e1s de otras irregularidades.<\/p>\n

El organismo citado planea multar a Google con 47.500 millones de wones surcoreanos (unos 33 millones de euros) y a Apple con 20.500 millones de wones surcoreanos (unos 14 millones de euros) por haber abusado de su posici\u00f3n en el mercado.<\/p>\n

Yonhap News Agency<\/em> aclara que las sanciones definitivas se determinar\u00e1n en cuanto las empresas hayan informado a los organismos competentes y se hayan llevado a cabo los procedimientos de deliberaci\u00f3n establecidos.

<\/em>La Comisi\u00f3n ha exhortado a las empresas a adoptar medidas correctoras de sus pr\u00e1cticas comerciales que puedan \u201cobstaculizar la competencia leal en el mercado\u201d.

<\/em>Al parecer, tambi\u00e9n ha determinado que la pol\u00edtica de Apple de cobrar una tasa a los desarrolladores del pa\u00eds constituye un acto discriminatorio.

<\/em>El Gobierno introdujo nuevas normas sobre pagos desde aplicaciones en agosto de 2021, y la Asamblea Nacional aprob\u00f3 la ley correspondiente en 2022.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
