The brand&#8217;s promotional swatches\/demo images showed the shades as fully opaque in coverage, though.<\/p>\n<p>The consistency was very watery initially; thin, fluid, and on the more watery side so that it was hard to apply the product evenly. I tried to use my fingertips but found that my fingertips seemed to absorb the formula and caused it to dry down faster, which turned it into a gummy consistency&#8211;this was even harder to manipulate and even out!  I would recommend a larger, flat synthetic brush or the included doe-foot applicator.<\/p>\n<p>I found the formula to be particularly difficult and inconsistent to work with, and I think it would be best for someone who would use the shades as a sheer wash of color and is not particularly concerned for a 100% perfect evenness or layered over another eyeshadow. The brand&#8217;s promotional swatches\/demo images showed the shades as fully opaque in coverage, though.<\/p>\n<p>The consistency was very watery initially; thin, fluid, and on the more watery side so that it was hard to apply the product evenly. I tried to use my fingertips but found that my fingertips seemed to absorb the formula and caused it to dry down faster, which turned it into a gummy consistency&#8211;this was even harder to manipulate and even out!  I would recommend a larger, flat synthetic brush or the included doe-foot applicator.<\/p>\n<p>I found the formula to be particularly difficult and inconsistent to work with, and I think it would be best for someone who would use the shades as a sheer wash of color and is not particularly concerned for a 100% perfect evenness or layered over another eyeshadow. The brand&#8217;s promotional swatches\/demo images showed the shades as fully opaque in coverage, though.<\/p>\n<p>The consistency was very watery initially; thin, fluid, and on the more watery side so that it was hard to apply the product evenly. I tried to use my fingertips but found that my fingertips seemed to absorb the formula and caused it to dry down faster, which turned it into a gummy consistency&#8211;this was even harder to manipulate and even out!  I would recommend a larger, flat synthetic brush or the included doe-foot applicator.<\/p>\n<p>I found the formula to be particularly difficult and inconsistent to work with, and I think it would be best for someone who would use the shades as a sheer wash of color and is not particularly concerned for a 100% perfect evenness or layered over another eyeshadow.
