Jaguar is getting closer to switching to all-electric luxury vehicle manufacturing after more than 75 years of producing internal combustion sports cars. The final rasp, gurgle and roar from an internal combustion Jaguar sports car engine will come from that of the 2024 Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition, a final 150-unit run if the gorgeous gasoline-fueled Jaguar F-Type sports car. <\/p>\n

It’s a finishing tribute to one of the world’s most beautiful high-performance sports cars.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025, this is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar\u2019s internal combustion sports car provenance,” said Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar, in statement.<\/p>\n

Inspired by two famous \u2018Project ZP\u2019 racing E-type cars from the 1960s, this limited-edition F-Type is created by Jaguar\u2019s SV Bespoke division and wear the wardrobe first seen on the limited-edition E-type Project ZP Collection<\/a> from Jaguar Classic, which restored seven E-Types restored to resemble the pair of winning 1961 Jaguar E-Types. <\/p>\n

Finished in Oulton Blue or Crystal Grey paint, these new limited-edition F-Types wear the same livery and colors. They\u2019re finished with gloss black exterior accents and brake calipers, fender badging, diamond-turned 20-inch forged alloy wheels, and a \u20181 of 150\u2019 SV Bespoke plaque. They will be offered as either a fixed-head or drophead coupe. <\/p>\n

Inside, SV Bespoke fitted these F-Types with horizontal seat fluting with contrasting interior colors. <\/p>\n

Power comes from the F-Type\u2019s supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 roars with a potent 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque through an 8-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. That\u2019s enough to move this kitty from 0-to-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.<\/p>\n

Yup, it\u2019s an old-school cat, but it\u2019s a good one. Given its small production run, however, you might want to contact your nearest dealer to find this rarified feline.<\/p>\n
