DRB-Hicom dan Zhejiang Geely Holding Group telah pun menandatangani Perjanjian Kerjasama Utama (MCA) yang akan menetapkan prinsipal asas, rangka kerja tadbir urus dan juga komitmen bersama termasuk peranan-peranan spesifik yang akan diambil untuk pembangunan dan inisiatif promosi bagi projek Automotive Hi-Tech Valley (AHTV) di Tanjong Malim<\/a>, Perak.<\/p>\n

MCA tersebut ditandatangani semalam di Proton Tanjong Malim dan ia disaksikan oleh perdana menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Awal tahun ini kedua-dua pihak telah pun memeterai Perjanjian Dasar-Dasar Utama (HOA)<\/a> ketika berlangsungnya Forum Perniagaan Malaysia-China di Beijing.<\/p>\n

Dalam majlis yang sama semalam, Zhejiang Geespace Technology milik Geely turut memeterai HOA dengan Altel Communications. Kerjasama ini adalah untuk memfokuskan pembangunan dan implementasi sistem teknologi tinggi dan akan mempercepatkan penggunaan penyelesaian inovatif dalam sektor seperti pelabuhan pintar.<\/p>\n

Menurut kenyataan yang dikeluarkan oleh DRB-Hicom, AHTV akan menarik pelaburan tempatan dan luar negara, yang akan memacunya menjadi hab automotif antarabangsa bagi kenderaan tenaga baharu (NEV, istilah yang digunakan China untuk kenderaan yang menerima teknologi elektrifikasi).<\/p>\n

\u201cTumpuannya bukan sahaja kepada pengeluaran kereta pelbagai jenama, tetapi juga dalam pembuatan komponen dan alat ganti berteknologi tinggi untuk NEV. Ini akan mengembangkan lagi keupayaan vendor tempatan ke arah pengkhususan dalam pembuatan berteknologi tinggi,\u201d tambah DRB-Hicom.<\/p>\n
