Dalam pembentangan Belanjawan 2024 petang tadi, perdana menteri Malaysia merangkap menteri kewangan Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim mengumumkan bahawa kerajaan akan menggunkan kereta elektrik penuh (EV) sebagai kenderaan rasmi bagi menggantikan kereta-kereta sedia ada.<\/p>\n

Walau bagaimanapun Anwar tidak memperincikan sama ada ia hanya akan membabitkan kereta-kereta rasmi menteri kabinet atau melibatkan kesemua kenderaan kerajaan. Buat masa sekarang, menteri-menteri kabinet menerima Toyota Vellfire sebagai kereta rasmi<\/a>. Mungkin ke semua Vellfire tersebut akan ditukar kepada Tesla tidak lama lagi?<\/p>\n

Juga buat masa sekarang tiada lagi sekatan hanya kenderaan pemasangan tempatan (CKD) boleh digunakan sebagai kenderaan rasmi. Banyak model-model EV mewah telah mula diperkenalkan di pasaran tempatan ketika ini, mungkin PM akan memilih Mercedes-Benz EQS untuk kereta rasminya kelak?<\/p>\n
