Kerajaan bersetuju untuk meneruskan semula cadangan pembinaan lima stesen Transit Aliran Ringan 3 (LRT3) atau pun LRT Laluan Shah Alam<\/a>, yang dibatalkan sebelum ini iaitu stesen Tropicana, Raja Muda, Temasya, Bukit Raja dan Bandar Botanik. Perkara ini diumumkan oleh Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim menerusi Belanjawan 2024. <\/p>\n Katanya, pengekalan stesen-stesen ini dijangka dapat melengkapi dan menambah baik jaringan pengangkutan awam di Lembah Klang yang bakal memanfaatkan dua juta penduduk. Ia memperuntukkan kos tambahan sebanyak RM5.3 bilion untuk meneruskan pembinaan lima stesen berkenaan.<\/p>\n Dengan pengumuman tersebut, kini hanya satu stesen sahaja yang dibatalkan daripada perancangan asal iaitu stesen bawah tanah di Persiaran Hishamuddin, Shah Alam.<\/p>\n Pada tahun 2018, kerajaan ketika itu telah membuat keputusan untuk meneruskan projek LRT3 dengan pengurangan kos<\/a> sebanyak 47% iaitu RM16.63 bilion berbanding kos asal sebanyak RM31.65 bilion. Ini termasuklah pembatalan lima stesen LRT3 berkenaan dan mengurangkan jumlah tempahan daripada 42 set kereta api enam-koc kepada 22 set kereta api tiga-koc.<\/p>\n Perkhidmatan LRT3 sepanjang 37.8 km ini menghubungkan Bandar Utama di Petaling Jaya ke Johan Setia di Klang.
