Teresa Weatherspoon grabs this week\u2019s top women\u2019s hoops headline, as the Hall of Famer will be returning to the WNBA as head coach of the Chicago Sky. <\/p>\n

The Sky scoop up Spoon<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On Thursday, the Chicago Sky officially named Teresa Weatherspoon the organization\u2019s next head coach. The leading candidate for the job since late August<\/a>, the Hall of Famer and New York Liberty legend most recently served as an assistant coach for the New Orleans Pelicans (2020-23). The Sky will hold a press conference announcing the hiring on Oct. 24<\/a>. <\/p>\n
