This is DD&#8217;s Speed Shop&#8217;s first time to install a supercharger and decided that it was going to be on the Nomad. And we approve!<\/p>\n<p>It started out as less car than he thought it was, but that just means the progress on this thing is sort of fluid. And so is the plan for it, which is why the thing is now a gasser! Just look at it now.<\/p>\n<p>DD Speed Shop has no shortage of project cars and somehow this one was completely forgotten. I don\u2019t know how that\u2019s possible, but man I\u2019m glad they have such cool ones to remember, like this 1955 Nomad. A Weiand 142 Supercharger came home in the suit case. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Now typically this sort of item would be out of my price range. My good buddy David Newbern picked up the display model from the labor day sale at Summit racing. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>$1500 well spent if you ask me! On today&#8217;s video we bolt on this belt driven intake manifold and hear the sweet sweet whine of this blower.
