Tata has already commenced the production of both the Harrier and Safari, and these SUVs have started arriving at the dealerships as well. The price for a brand new Safari facelift starts at Rs 16.19 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 25.49 lakh, ex-showroom. In this video, we see the customer taking delivery of her Safari SUV. We can see the customer celebrating by cutting a cake at the dealership, with dealership staff gathered around the car. The car was covered with a cloth and was not unveiled. After cutting the cake, the cloth was removed, and the SUV was revealed to the customer. Tata ensured that this time, there are differentiating elements between the Safari and Harrier. The Harrier has a split grille-type styling, whereas the Safari has a much deeper front grille with body-colored inserts. The bumper also has a different design when compared to the Harrier. The dual-function LED DRLs, connecting LED bar at the front with a welcome function can all be seen here. The Safari comes with 19-inch Spider diamond-cut alloy wheels, giving it a distinct identity. They also look proportionate to the overall dimensions of the Safari. There is a Safari badge on the front doors as well. Just like at the front, Tata has updated the rear of the Safari as well. The SUV gets redesigned LED tail lamps with a connecting bar running across the width of the car. This LED bar also offers the welcome function. The rear bumper has also been redesigned, and the reverse lamp is integrated into the bumper.<\/p>\n<p>The basic design of the cabin remains the same as the previous version; however, it now offers more features than before. It comes with an updated touchscreen infotainment screen, a fully digital instrument cluster, a redesigned steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo in the center, ambient lights, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats for both front and rear seat passengers (captain seat version), and so on. The car also offers ADAS with 11 features and a gesture-controlled power tailgate. The SUV continues to use the same 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine as before, generating 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
