Netflix has unveiled one more official trailer for the kick ass animated series Blue Eye Samurai<\/em><\/strong>, co-created by Amber Noizumi & Michael Green (writer of Logan<\/em> & Blade Runner 2049<\/em>). We’ve featured a few trailers already<\/a>. It’s described as a “for adults only” series from “tragic to poetic to barbaric and occasionally erotic.” Set in 1633 Japan during the Edo period, the epic animation series stars Maya Erskine<\/strong> as Mizu, a hardened fighter. She knows there are only four white men in Japan and sets off to kill them, one of whom might be her father, who made her a “monster.” But revenge is not an option for women, so Mizu must forge her revenge quest while hiding her gender as well as her blue eyes.
