Steven Spielberg<\/strong><\/a> and Tobe Hooper\u2019s classic 80s film Poltergeist<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is one of my all-time favorite horror films. It\u2019s just so damn good, and it delivers some awesome thrills and chills. We previously talked about the making of the film in great detail on our Secret Level<\/a> podcast, but I\u2019ve got a great video that you\u2019ve got to check out!<\/p>\n

This is a 1982 behind-the-scenes short documentary on the making of the suburban ghost story. The doc was directed by the film’s producer, Frank Marshall, and it offers a glimpse at what it was like for everyone involved with the film while shooting it. I love seeing how they shot some of those awesome practical special effects scenes back in the day! <\/p>\n

It\u2019s funny because it\u2019s believed by many<\/a> that Spielberg was the real director of the film, and as you\u2019ll see in this video, there\u2019s definitely more footage of Spielberg directing than Hooper. There are also interviews with members of the cast. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this! <\/p>\n
