The women’s wheelchair basketball final at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Para Games was a spectacular showdown as arch-rivals China and Japan clashed for the fourth time in the competition’s history.<\/p>\n

China and Japan had previously crossed paths in the women’s final three times in a row at the Asian Para Games. The rivalry began with Japan claiming victory in the inaugural edition in Guangzhou in 2010. However, in the subsequent two Games, China emerged victorious, establishing their dominance in this fiercely contested sport.<\/p>\n

In the Bronze medal match, I.R. Iran demonstrated their prowess with a resounding victory over China, triumphing with a score of 79-35. The competition in both the men’s and women’s categories showcased the remarkable talent and tenacity of the athletes, making the Asian Para Games a celebration of inclusivity and athletic excellence.<\/p>\n
