These happen when a car in front suddenly brakes and the vehicle in the rear cannot react quickly enough and crashes. Recently, a similar crash between a Tata Harrier and a Toyota Fortuner was shared online. Irrespective of what you see in the video, we would like to tell you that it is not right to judge build quality of any vehicle from post-crash or live crash videos. In the short YouTube video, a white-colored Toyota Fortuner can be seen parked in the middle of a wet road with its hazard lights on. The video then shows the front end of the Fortuner which looks somewhat damaged.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"PROPsofiWC\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/tata-harrier-old-vs-new-in-images\/\">Tata Harrier: Old vs New, in images<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" title=\"&#8220;Tata Harrier: Old vs New, in images&#8221; &#8212; Cartoq\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/tata-harrier-old-vs-new-in-images\/embed\/#?secret=jiXSszCerm%23?secret=PROPsofiWC\" data-secret=\"PROPsofiWC\" width=\"580\" height=\"327\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the same video clip, a Tata Harrier Dark Edition was seen slowly moving on the side of the road. It can be noted that the rear end of this brand-new Harrier also looks quite dented. Now, what exactly happened at the spot is currently unknown. However, our best guess is that the Harrier driver might have applied the brakes on the wet road, and the Fortuner could not stop in time, leading to the crash into the rear end of the Harrier.<\/p>\n<h2>Is Tata better than Toyota?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>No.<\/strong> No such conclusion can be drawn from the video. Many people in the comment section of the video were stating that the quality of Tata Motors is far superior to Toyota. However, this is not true. The main aim of these zones is to collapse during a crash. These zones work by managing crash energy and increasing the time over which the deceleration of the occupants of the vehicle occurs.
