The Euro NCAP and Latin NCAP crash tests conducted in 2021 and 2022 respectively have already demonstrated the vehicle’s safety prowess. The Tucson’s crash test will be followed by the Exter, another Hyundai model. The Exter also comes with all the essential safety features as standard, except for Electronic Stability Control (ESC). The Bharat NCAP protocol was initially scheduled to begin on October 1, but it faced a slight delay due to challenges in securing units for crash testing amid supply constraints.
