Netflix has released a preview clip from its upcoming sci-fi series epic 3 Body Problem<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. This series is being developed by the creative team behind HBO\u2019s Game of Thrones<\/strong>, David Benioff<\/strong> and D.B. Weiss<\/strong>. This actually looks like a cool show! <\/p>\n

The clip features Jack (John Bradley<\/strong>) being introduced to a mysterious device that allows individuals to transport to another dimension. As he is enjoying the experience, a woman surprises him wielding a sword telling him he wasn’t invited as she slashes at him. <\/p>\n

In the series: \u201cA young woman\u2019s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant scientists in the present day. As the laws of nature unravel before their eyes, five former colleagues reunite to confront the greatest threat in humanity\u2019s history.\u201d<\/p>\n

The series also stars Jess Hong<\/strong>, Benedict Wong<\/strong>, Eiza Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, Jovan Adepo<\/strong>, Alex Sharp<\/strong>, Saamer Usmani<\/strong>, Liam Cunningham<\/strong>, Rosalind Chao<\/strong>, Jonathan Pryce<\/strong>, Marlo Kelly<\/strong>, Sea Shimooka<\/strong>, Ben Schnetzer<\/strong> and Zine Tseng<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rian Johnson<\/strong>, Brad Pitt<\/strong>, and Rosamund Pike<\/strong> also serve as producers on the series. Benioff, Weiss, and Alexander Woo wrote the series and serve as showrunners.<\/p>\n

The eight-episode series is based on the book series by Cixin Liu, and it will cover all three books in the trilogy, which include The Three-Body Problem, The Dark Forest, and Death\u2019s End.<\/p>\n

The books tell the story of what happens \u201cwhen humanity discovers that we are not alone in the universe and prepares for an alien force arriving from a distant and inhospitable world. The title refers to the aliens\u2019 star system, which has three stars orbiting each other in such a way that an Earth-type planet between them keeps suffering extreme hot and cold temperatures, repeatedly wiping out its intelligent civilizations.\u201d<\/p>\n
