Bubbawheat is the champion of this 2002 collaboration between Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise. He takes over hosting duties and leads us through a discussion of determinism, free will, existentialism, futurism and a variety of plot issues that perplex us still. However, being in Spielberg’s hands, lots of the issues become superfluous as we are thrust into an exciting chase, set in a sci-fi universe in the near future. <\/p>\n

Colin Farrell, Max Von Sydow and Samantha Morton all lend support, but it is really Tom Cruise that drives the action in the film. Howard Casner joins the show to offer his defense of Pre-Crime technology while he criticizes the legal system that must have evolved to handle it. There is a lot of speculation about the advertising technology that the film visualized which is now almost standard whenever people are in the vicinity of a cell phone or computer. The futurists who consulted on the film get a lot of things right, but it is still unlikely that we will get vertical highways and jet packs any time in the next fifty years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
