<\/a><\/p>\nI\u2019ll say up front, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the first half of this episode. \u00a0Perfectly fine. \u00a0Necessary, even. \u00a0But the truth is, for me Helck<\/em> has become so much about the title character and his two companions that the rest of it just isn\u2019t as interesting for me. \u00a0Mostly what I was thinking during the A-part was \u201chow soon till we get back to the good stuff?\u201d \u00a0Not exactly fair I know, but the heart wants what it wants.<\/p>\n Basically, that A-part served as an update on the state of play in the human-demon war. \u00a0The heroes, being immortal, keep launching attack after attack knowing they\u2019ll just be revived when they die. \u00a0This is in spite of the fact that they\u2019re still individually much weaker than their enemies (though that gap is closing). \u00a0Azudora\u2019s counter is to try and capture as many of them alive as possible, which seems like the right play. \u00a0Except it\u2019s not really working, judging by the numbers Hon is quoting (like 5 captured in the latest battle).<\/p>\n As Asta determines during her spy mission (where she\u2019s almost caught<\/a>), the humans are playing the long game here. \u00a0This isn\u2019t about winning, it\u2019s about leveling up and bringing down enemy numbers. \u00a0Azudora (who refers to Helck as a \u201chighest caliber menace\u201d, though he seems to trust him now) himself continues to obsess over Vermilio\u2019s status (for practical reasons, but not only). \u00a0And he reveals that he\u2019s been friends with at least one human leader<\/a> in the past – one who harbored an interest in forging a lasting peace with demonkind. \u00a0It didn\u2019t work out (obviously) for reasons that will surely become clear in due time.<\/p>\n As for the main trio, they\u2019re progressing through the desert, having just passed through an important merchant town (as we\u2019ll see in the very entertaining omake). \u00a0There\u2019a a heart-to-heart between Helck and Anne – despite his professed surprise he knows full well she\u2019s been wary of him since his berserker episode. \u00a0Anne has clearly come around on Helck, though – she\u2019s angry at herself for doubting him, though he knows she\u2019s right to do so. \u00a0In fact he asks her to take his sword – which is actually half a broken longsword knows as \u201cHero Killer<\/a>\u201d. \u00a0This is the weapon Augis referred to last week as one Helck shouldn\u2019t have in his possession.<\/p>\n Having seen Anne\u2019s concern over what happened, Helck has decided it\u2019s time to share the story of his past – the flashback this series has been building towards for the entire cour. \u00a0Flashbacks are normally as popular as the mange but this one has been a long time coming (and a little longer still). \u00a0Not to be overlooked is that Helck is doing this to convince Vermillio to take Hero Killer, and the reason he\u2019s doing so is that its likely the only thing that can kill him. \u00a0Anne may profess to trust Helck now, but he certainly doesn\u2019t trust himself.<\/p>\n That omake at the end – quite long, about four minutes – was the highlight of the episode for me. \u00a0Not just for all the Piwi service, but lots of other good stuff too – like the narrator just randomly showing up in the town and spouting off. \u00a0And the trio spending on animal ears<\/a>, and the \u201ccameloinks<\/a>\u201d. \u00a0 And that dancing bit at the end, with Anne really busting some serious moves<\/a>. \u00a0Piwi keeping a traveler\u2019s journal<\/a> seems like a sidebar with endless comic potential (are these the extra chapters I\u2019ve heard so much about?) – the little spud waxing profound every week would be worth the price of admission all by itself.<\/p>\n The post Helck – 12<\/a> appeared first on Lost in Anime<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n \u7acb\u523b\u8a3b\u518a\u53ca\u5831\u540d\u96fb\u8166\u88dc\u7fd2\u8ab2\u7a0b\u5427! <\/a> www.ITSec.vip<\/a> www.Sraa.com.hk<\/a> www.ITSec.hk<\/a> www.Penetrationtest.hk<\/a> www.ITSeceu.uk<\/a> Just give me 22 minutes of Piwi and I\u2019m not really bothered about the rest of it.
