Recently, a tale of one such enthusiast getting reunited with his family\u2019s first new car has been shared online. In this video, the person explains how he found his family&#8217;s car that they purchased 20 years ago. The video starts off with the presenter announcing that he has bought a 2003 Tata Indica. He states that he is fully aware that it is not a very desirable car, but he has bought it because of very personal reasons. The presenter starts the story by telling that this vehicle was first bought by his family back in October of 2003 when the Indica was recently launched. He stated that they had upgraded from a Premier Padmini, and this was a huge moment for their family.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-388699 lazy-load\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2003-Tata-Indica-restored.jpg\" alt=\"2003 Tata Indica restored\" width=\"740\" height=\"416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2003-Tata-Indica-restored.jpg 740w, https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2003-Tata-Indica-restored-443x249.jpg 443w, https:\/\/www.cartoq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2003-Tata-Indica-restored-150x84.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 740px) 100vw, 740px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He shared the complete process of his family shortlisting and test driving this hatchback and then finally taking delivery of it. The presenter narrated the entire story like all of this just happened yesterday. His love for this hatchback and its importance for him was being showcased by him at every step of this video. Next up, he shared that they drove this vehicle until 2013 and, in between, maintained it properly and added a free-flow exhaust. Prior to this, he mentioned that their Indica was a petrol model and was the second fastest petrol hatchback in India after Fiat Palio 1.6.<\/p>\n<p>Next up, he added that when in 2013 they finally decided to upgrade their family car, they exchanged this vehicle at the Volkswagen dealership for a new Vento sedan. He added that despite selling the vehicle, he could not forget about it and kept tracking the car. The presenter stated that he thought that it might not survive; however, the new owner kept it serviced. The presenter then went on to narrate the story further and how he finally was able to buy the vehicle and take it from the family with which it was.
