Dan is calling this the world\u2019s worst \u201957 Chevy because there is nothing on it that isn\u2019t rotten or bent or something. Of course that just means there is plenty to do which means lots of great DD Speed Shop videos. Dan has already taken another chassis and set it up for a bigger set of rear tires and gotten it under this thing since the original chassis is just rotten. With that said, he\u2019s going to be doing everything to bring this one back, as you would expect, but he\u2019s going to do it the Dan way. The chassis went under it in a kind of sketchy way, but is good to go now and now it is time to do some rust repair stuff. Don\u2019t worry, he\u2019s not using fancy new parts, but rather some used patch panels, because that is what Dan does.<\/p>\n
And now that those panels are “in”, there is just one thing left to do. Make a million tack welds in order to weld all the panels into place.<\/p>\n

The other side probably ain’t lookin so hot either. So today we get to work on the passenger side of this crunchy 57 Chevrolet. Unfortunately I only had the rear quarter patch on this side and there is A LOT of filler up front… <\/em><\/p>\n With the car tacked back together, I hope inside and cut out all the remaining floor. This car is starting to come together in a hurry. Once the floor pan is in we can start to focus on the mechanical. Motor? Transmission? Suspension? What a concept….<\/em><\/p>\n
