Yeah, I was busy being reckless<\/a> during all the sales last week. It’s very easy to get caught up in all these sales. It’s also very overwhelming. I’m convinced Black Friday isn’t even a think anymore. It’s just a week long event (or a month one)! Did indulge? Yes. Did I overindulge? Naa! I was good. But I did make a reckless choice or two that worked out in my favor! The most expensive thing I purchased in the makeup realm was Tom Ford Traceless Foundation<\/a> and I regret nothing! Not a damn penny.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick is bound to be back for Spring 2024 in some “new formulation” because at the moment it’s 50% off off across a few different retailers. I am a forever and always stick foundation girl. My loved of stick foundations goes back to the days of Benefit Playsticks. I think we have way TOO few stick formulas on the market. Please, whatever brand is reading this right now, hear my cries and just put all your foundations in a stick so I can swipe them on, blend them out, and go about my day. I find sticks are just really handy especially because I’m not a person that puts foundation on every piece of real estate on my face. I don’t apply foundation on my forehead, nor under my eyes, etc… GASP! I know! I’m weird. I typically I swipe on either side of my nose and blend out from there. That’s it. That’s my foundation technique. I prefer light coverage that will ease dullness and brighten but I don’t require full coverage. That’s why I like Foundation Sticks. They are easy to swipe on and allow for sheer or more buildable coverage if I want it.<\/p>\n I got the shade Champagne 3.5 in the Traceless Foundation Stick and I was beside myself in joy how well it matched my skin tone. I’m a light-medium tone with a peach undertone. I find it very challenging to find good color matches. The undertones on foundation are typically too light, too yellow, too orange, or too neutral. A lighter peach undertone is perfect for me but feel like I don’t always get a good peach undertone from brands. Traceless Foundation NAILED it. <\/p>\n This is a soft creamy texture that blends beautifully and provides a beautiful brightness with a soft, smooth matte finish. Yeah, I know. I’m dry skin how am I getting away with this finish! It worked great for me. I never felt it was drying or adhering to drier areas. It felt and looked smooth and natural on my skin!<\/p>\n This is originally $90 bucks which I’d totally dish out if it was some sort of skincare but I’ve never technically purchased a foundation for that amount before. Or at least I don’t think I have. Well, I have purchased Clea de Peau Concealer for $75 does that count? But yeah, $90 on foundation is too high to pay just because it’s not something I use heavily. $45 is even A LOT but it’s still better than $90. But I’d totally spend $90 after trying this. I love the formula! This a beautiful texture and looks incredible on my skin. Now the problem is the fact I’ll never be able to find it again because it appears it’s being discontinued. Let’s hope Tom Ford Beauty Spring 2024 brings some new and exciting foundation stick into my life that I can replace when I run out of this!<\/p>\n Has anyone tried this?
