India’s first-ever customer, Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 adventure motorcycle, has been delivered! Recently, the pictures of the country’s first customer, Himalayan 452, have been shared on Instagram by Carbon Racing Inc<\/a> on their page. The pictures show the delivery of the brand-new motorcycle at the Royal Enfield dealership in Tumkur, Karnataka. This particular bike has been finished in the shade of Hanle Black, which has been priced at Rs 2.84 lakh, and it is the most expensive color option in the lineup.<\/p>\n

Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 launched<\/h2>\n

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is the newest and most rugged bike in the Chennai-based bikemakers’ portfolio in India. It gets an all-new lighter and stronger steel, twin-spar tubular frame. In terms of design, the bike has been given brand new front and rear fenders, and the fuel tank of the bike has also been enlarged. It now boasts a 17-liter capacity, which was 15 liters in the Himalayan 411.<\/p>\n

The bike, in terms of features and technological upgrades, gets a new 4-inch round TFT display with phone connectivity, full map navigation, and media controls. Additionally, the bike will offer multiple ride modes as well as a USB Type-C charging port. It also gets all-LED headlights, taillights, and indicators as well.<\/p>\n

Engine and suspension<\/h2>\n

On the mechanical side of things, the new Himalayan 452 comes equipped with an upside-down fork suspension at the front. Meanwhile, on the rear, it gets a monoshock suspension. As part of its enhanced off-roading capabilities, the front wheel offers a total travel of an impressive 200 mm, and on the rear as well, it offers a 200 mm travel, which was 180 mm in the Himalayan 411.<\/p>\n

\"Royal<\/p>\n

Powering the new Himalayan 452 is the brand-new developed-from-scratch Sherpa 452 engine. It is Royal Enfield\u2019s first liquid-cooled engine on a motorcycle. It is a 452cc single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve engine that makes 40 bhp at 8000 rpm and generates around 40 Nm of torque. The new engine comes mated to a 6-speed wet clutch, which will also offer slip and assist. The new Himalayan 452 will also feature ride-by-wire.<\/p>\n

Brakes<\/h2>\n

In order to stop this bike after hitting speeds upwards of 140 kmph, it has been equipped with 320 mm hydraulic disc brakes at the front, while the rear will get a 270 mm disc brake caliper. The bike also gets switchable dual-channel ABS. Meanwhile, the wheels and tire setup of the bike include a 21-inch spoked wheel at the front. And on the rear, it comes equipped with a 17-inch spoked wheel. One of the main highlights is that it comes equipped with spoked wheels, which are tubeless.<\/p>\n

Royal Enfield has launched the new Himalayan 452 adventure motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 2.69 lakh, which will go all the way up to Rs 2.84 lakh. The company has announced that this pricing will be valid till midnight on December 31, 2023. The base variant, which is the Kaza Brown colored model, has been priced at Rs 2.69 lakh. Meanwhile, the Pass variant, which will be offered in Slate Himalayan Salt and Slate Poppy Blue color, has been priced at Rs 2.74 lakh. The summit variant offered in Kamet White has been priced at Rs 2.79 lakh. Meanwhile, the Summit variant in Hanle Black color has been priced at Rs 2.84 lakh.<\/p>\n
