The mid-2010s was the height of Nike Basketball’s collective holiday series, spearheading a synonymous Christmas theme across each of their signature solutions. While last season’s installment centered around a Museum aesthetic that preserved the greatness of their athletes, this year the Beaverton brand’s Greater Than series of on-court footwear will serve as the annual thematic cohort.<\/p>\n

Utilizing the Zoom Cut 2, GT Jump 2 and the GT Hustle 2, the upcoming collection spreads a litany of Christmas-time decorations across each model. Following a metallic candy cane treatment, the GT Cut 2<\/a> sees its heel coated in a shimmering “Silver Metallic” treatment that is accented by a cream-white midsole and green and red complements. In a similar vein, the GT Hustle 2<\/a> is anchored by the season’s synonymous two-toned treatment as a vibrant crimson animates the entirety of the upper with seldom green and silver accents paired with cursive Nike embroidery at the heel that rings in the yuletide cheer.<\/p>\n

Standing in stark opposition, the GT Jump 2<\/a> mirrors the aesthetic of a chilling winter blizzard with a light grey upper and a collection of icy blue contrasts. While each pair explores a slightly different design, the upcoming collection sees a few similarities between mismatched green and red laces and intricate snowflake detailing that ascertains each effort.<\/p>\n
