Meta is once again teaming up with Ray-Ban for its next generation of smart glasses, which are set to launch on October 17 and are available to preorder now at Amazon<\/a> and Best Buy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new glasses are based on Ray-Ban’s popular Wayfarer and Headliner sunglasses and feature two ultra-wide 12-megapixel cameras on the front of the frames for taking pictures, recording video, or even livestreaming directly to apps like Instagram or Facebook. Open-ear speakers are integrated into the arms for listening to music, and there are five microphones for recording spatial audio, taking calls, or responding to text messages with your voice. The glasses also support voice controls via the Meta AI assistant.<\/p>\n
