Juara kategori pengeluar<\/a> dan juga pemandu bagi Kejohanan Rali Dunia 2023, Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team (TGR-WRT) telah pun mendedahkan livery<\/em> perlumbaan pada GR Yaris Rally1 yang bakal digunakan pada musim hadapan – berbanding warna rasmi Gazoo Racing merah-putih hitam<\/a> yang digunakan sebelum ini, untuk 2024 jentera berkenaan tampil dengan warna badan hitam matte<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Menurut Toyota rupa baharu ini dihasilkan dari dua konsep; Pertama adalah “kelajuan” yang melambangkan semangat “tidak suka kekalahan” pasukan berkenaan, dan kedua adalah “prototaip” yang mewakili “untuk menghasilkan kereta dengan baka sukan permotoran dan sentiasa berevolusi”.<\/p>\n

Dengan undang-undang yang masih belum berubah, Toyota masih lagi menggunakan jentera GR Yaris Rally1 yang sama untuk WRC 2024. Ia dibina berasaskan kerangka space frame<\/em> dan dijana enjin 1.6 liter turbo bersama restrictor<\/em> berdiameter 36 mm bagi menghasilkan kuasa 380 hp<\/p>\n

Kesemua jentera Rally1 juga wajib menggunakan unit modul plug-in Hybrid yang dibangunkan oleh Compact Dynamics, menampilkan bateri lithium ion 3.9 kWj, motor elektrik (Motor Generator Unit atau MGU) berkuasa 100 kW (134 hp) dan tork 180 Nm, serta unit inverter dan unit pengurusan kuasa \u2013 kesemuanya diletakkan dalam perumah yang diperbuat dari gentian karbon.<\/p>\n

Motor elektrik berkenaan dihubungkan terus kepada gandar belakang; jadi pada masa-masa tertentu, GR Yaris ini dapat memecut dengan kuasa penuh sekitar 500 hp. Kuasa \u2018boost\u2019 dari sistem hibrid elektrik berkenaan dikawal oleh kotak komputer yang telah diselarikan dengan talaan kotak komputer unit pengurasan enjin pembakaran dalaman.<\/p>\n

Untuk musim depan TGR-WRT sudahpun mengesahkan pemandu dari Wales, Elfyn Evans akan bertindak sebagai pemandu utama, dan pemandu Jepun Takamoto Katsuta akan mengemudi jentera kedua pasukan berkenaan. Manakala juara dunia 2022 dan 2023<\/a>, Kalle Rovanpera pula hanya akan memandu secara separa masa kerana mahu berehat selepas memulakan kariernya sebagai pemandu rali sejak berumur 10 tahun.<\/p>\n

Oleh itu Rovanpera akan memandu jentera ketiga TGR-WRT, berkongsi tempat dengan juara WRC lapan kali Sebastien Ogier<\/a> yang sudahpun dua musim berlumba secara separa masa<\/a> dengan pasukan tersebut. Pasukan ini akan terus diketuai oleh bekas pemandu WRC Finland, Jari-Matti Latvala<\/a> yang menyandang tugas sebagai Prinsipal pasukan.<\/p>\n
